Revising a Simulation Process
You can revise a simulation process.
- From
the search menu in the Top Bar, search for and select the simulation process to revise.
Process Composer displays the simulation process in the navigation pane and the table page. - From the navigation pane, select Revisions.
Process Composer displays the Revisions page with a list of all the revisions of the simulation process. - From the Revisions page toolbar, select Revise.
- From the Revise
page that appears, enter the following:
- Revision: Process Composer increments the value of the revision when you create a new revision. However, you can enter any string or number.
- Description: Enter a description that allows any user to determine why this revision was made and how it differs from the previous revision.
- Policy: If desired, change the policy that governs this simulation process or simulation activity.
- Click Done to create the revision.
Process Composer copies any access rights that were granted to the original simulation process over to the revision of the simulation process.
Revising a Simulation Activity
You can revise a simulation activity that was created under a simulation process or under another simulation activity.
- From
the search menu in the Top Bar, search for and select the simulation activity to revise.
Process Composer displays the simulation activity in the navigation pane and the table page. - From the navigation pane, select Revisions.
Process Composer displays the Revisions page with a list of all the revisions of the simulation activity. - From the Revisions page toolbar, select Revise.
- From the Revise
page that appears, enter the following:
- Revision: Process Composer increments the value of the revision when you create a new revision. However, you can enter any string or number.
- Description: Enter a description that allows any user to determine why this revision was made and how it differs from the previous revision.
- Policy: If desired, change the policy that governs this simulation process or simulation activity.
- Click Done to create the revision.
Process Composer copies any access rights that were granted to the original simulation activity over to the revision of the simulation activity. - The original revision remains in the parent simulation process or simulation activity. To use the new revision, display the Revisions page, toggle on the new revision, and select Make Active. See Choosing a Revision for more information.
Revising an Owned Document
You can revise an owned document.
- From
the search menu in the Top Bar, search for and select the simulation document to revise.
Process Composer displays the simulation document in the navigation pane and the table page. - From the navigation pane, select Content.
- Expand the category and/or folders in the simulation process or simulation activity to display the document that you wish to revise.
- Toggle on the document to revise, and select from the Actions menus.
- Click Done to create the revision.
Note:
You can also revise a document by clicking tool to view the document in a new window and by selecting Revisions from the navigation pane of the new window.
Process Composer replaces the document with the new revision.
The revision sequence (for example, 1, 2, 3 or A, B, C) is determined by the object's policy, and Process Composer increments this value when you create a new revision.
Process Composer copies any access rights that were granted to the original document over to the revision of the document.
Revising a Connector
You can revise a connector.
Before you begin: You must be a Simulation Methods Developer to revise a connector.
- From
the search menu in the Top Bar, search for and select the simulation connector to revise.
Process Composer displays the simulation connector in the navigation pane and the table page. - From the navigation pane, select Revisions.
Process Composer displays the Revisions page with a list of all the revisions of the connector. - From the Revisions page toolbar, select Revise.

with the new revision.
The revision sequence (for example, 1, 2, 3 or A, B, C) is determined by the object's policy, and Process Composer increments this value when you create a new revision.

Revising an Experience
You can revise an experience.
Before you begin: You must be a Simulation Methods Developer to revise an experience.
- From
the search menu in the Top Bar, search for and select the simulation experience to revise.
Process Composer displays the simulation experience in the navigation pane and the table page. - From the navigation pane, select Revisions.
Process Composer displays the Revisions page with a list of all the revisions of the experience. - From the Revisions page toolbar, select Revise.
- From the Revise
page that appears, enter the following:
- Revision: Process Composer increments the value of the revision when you create a new revision. However, you can enter any string or number.
- Description: Enter a description that allows any user to determine why this revision was made and how it differs from the previous revision. You must provide a description when you revise an experience.
- Policy: If desired, change the policy that governs this experience.
- Click Done to create the revision.
Process Composer displays the Revisions page
with the new revision. The associated type and attribute group from the original experience are inherited by the new experience. Process Composer copies any access rights that were granted to the original simulation experience over to the revision of the experience.
Revising an Attribute Group
You can revise an attribute group.
- From
the search menu in the Top Bar, search for and select the attribute group to revise.
Process Composer displays the attribute group in the navigation pane and the table page. - From the navigation pane, select Revisions.
Process Composer displays the Revisions page with a list of all the revisions of the attribute group. - From the Revisions page toolbar, select Revise.
- From the Revise
page that appears, enter the following:
- Revision: Process Composer increments the value of the revision when you create a new revision. However, you can enter any string or number.
- Description: Enter a description that allows any user to determine why this revision was made and how it differs from the previous revision.
- Policy: If desired, change the policy that governs this experience.
- Click Done to create the revision.
