  1. Click to return to the Processes page.
  2. From the Processes page toolbar, select .

Note: You can also create a simulation process by selecting Add > V+R Process Management > Create Simulation Process (New) from the Top Bar.

  3. In the Create New Process window that appears, enter the following:
    • Title: Process Composer displays the title to indicate which simulation process you are working with. Process Composer text fields allow you to enter long descriptive names. The text that you enter is case sensitive and can include spaces.

Different simulation processes can share the same title; however, if you create more than one simulation process with the same title, you will not be able to use the title to distinguish between simulation processes.

    • Attribute Group: Click to search for and choose an attribute group with an associated type of simulation. See About Attribute Groups for more information.

    • Description: Enter a description that allows any user to determine the purpose of this simulation process. You should describe the problem that you are attempting to answer along with the product and/or workflow you are simulating.
    • Policy: Choose from the list of simulation policies. See About Policies for more information.
    • Simulation Study: Group your simulation processes into a logical simulation study. For example, you can group all the simulation processes created from a particular simulation experience, where each simulation process has different values for the input parameters. You can use the resulting study to limit the results of a search.
    • Simulation Kind: Determine where the simulation process can be accessed. Select method (default) to access the process with Process Composer. Select adhoc to access the process with Simulation Companion.
  4. Click Done to create the simulation process.
The new simulation process appears in the Processes page.
