Creating a Table Template Using the DS Report Template

You can create a table using the attributes of the DS report template.

Creating a DS Report Template

  1. From the Compass, click 3D Modeling Apps , and select Quality Rules Reuse app.
  2. From the Quality Rules Reuse section of the action bar, click Report Definition.
  3. Click Save As and enter a name.

    The name of the report template is later used to find it in the database.

Creating a Table Template

  1. From the Smart Template Management section of the action bar, click Table Template .
  2. In the Table Template Definition panel, select DS Report Table from the Report Type list.
  3. Click Object Select next to Report Template.
  4. In the Object Select dialog box, in the From Search tab, enter the name of the already created report template.

    You can also select a report template that is already loaded in the session using the From Session tab.

    The remaining fields of the table template are automatically configured.
  5. Optional: In the Select view object filter type list, select Box Filter.

    The table contents depend on the primary content filter defined for a view.

  6. In the tree, double-click an attribute to modify the table layout.

    You can change the column sizes, header row sizes, default cell alignment, and so on.

  7. Rename the table template Count Occurrences of References.
  8. Save the ASD drawing template representation.
  9. Open the catalog containing the template chapter.
  10. Insert the newly created table template in the respective template chapter.

    You can create a generative table using this table template.

Note: The primary content filtering for report generation works only on occurrences. If the filter box is created on a feature aggregated inside an occurrence containing multiple features, all the features under the occurrence are reported.
