Modifying a Multi-Object Annotation

You can add or remove objects from the annotation.


Before you begin: Open a drawing containing a generated view with a multi-object annotation.

  1. Select the annotation line and drag the extremities to modify it.
    All the elements considered by the annotation are listed under Objects.
  2. Double-click the annotation line to edit it.
  3. In the Multi-Object Annotation dialog box, click the Target Annotation box.
  4. In the view, select a different target annotation.
  5. Under Objects, right-click the required annotation and select any one of the following:

    • Override: The annotation result is overridden by the selected option (Annotated or Not Annotated).

      For example, an element overridden to Not Annotated is displayed as shown below:



    • Ignored: No symbol is generated for the selected element.
    • Reset: The annotation result is re-computed for the selected element.
