Edit Section

The Edit section provides commands for creating and managing objects.



Create System Experience
Enter a name to create a new experience.
See Authoring a System Experience.


Delete System Experience
Select the experience to be deleted.
The selected experience is deleted in the tree, from the graphical view, and from the database.

Switch Mode
Switches between view and edit modes.

By default, the view mode is activated.

Undo
In edit mode, cancels the previous action.


Redo
In edit mode, restores the disabled action.


Save
In edit mode, saves the system experience with its 2D panels and scenarios.

Refresh Outdated Models
In edit mode, updates the models of the experience.
Running experiences are deleted and the actions history is cleared.


Route Links
In edit mode, reroutes all the links.
All links of the experience are concerned.


Add Function Block
In edit mode, inserts a function block in the work area.
Select the function block to be inserted from the Function Block dialog box.

Check Experience and Select Revisions
In edit mode, checks the experience and indicates other available model revisions.
Select a revision (prior or older) to update the chosen instance with this model revision.

Build and Create Execution Instance
In edit mode, builds the experience and creates an execution instance.

Create Execution Instance
In view mode, creates an execution instance already built.
This command is only available if a build has been executed at the end of the design phase.
