Execution Section

The Execution section provides commands for simulating an experience.

Play
Starts the experience execution.
  • Starts the execution in continuous mode if the execution is paused.
  • Pauses the execution if the execution is running.
See Managing Probes in the Assembly View.

Step
Executes one step of the experience.
This button is available when the execution is in pause mode.
See Displaying a 2D Panel.

Reset
Resets the experience execution.
Stops the execution and resets it with initial values.
See Creating a Graphical Scenario.

Real Time
See Flyout for Accelerating Time Factor.

Open Experience Tree
Opens the experience tree.
Lets you assign values, trace and force ports, and add probes to ports.
See About Experience Tree.

Flyout for Accelerating Time Factor

Real Time
Executes the experience in real time.
Set the acceleration factor to 1 so the execution time follows the real time.
See Executing a Graphical Scenario.

x2 of Real Time
Executes the experience 2 times faster than the real time.
Set the acceleration factor to 2 so the execution time increases 2 times faster than the real time.
See Executing a Graphical Scenario.

x3 of Real Time
Executes the experience 3 times faster than the real time.
Set the acceleration factor to 3 so the execution time increases 3 times faster than the real time.
See Executing a Graphical Scenario.

x4 of Real Time
Executes the experience 4 times faster than the real time.
Set the acceleration factor to 4 so the execution time increases 4 times faster than the real time.
See Executing a Graphical Scenario.

x5 of Real Time
Executes the experience 5 times faster than the real time.
Set the acceleration factor to 5 so the execution time increases 5 times faster than the real time.
See Executing a Graphical Scenario.

x10 of Real Time
Executes the experience 10 times faster than the real time.
Set the acceleration factor to 10 so the execution time increases 10 times faster than the real time.
See Executing a Graphical Scenario.

x20 of Real Time
Executes the experience 20 times faster than the real time.
Set the acceleration factor to 20 so the execution time increases 20 times faster than the real time.
See Executing a Graphical Scenario.

x50 of Real Time
Executes the experience 50 times faster than the real time.
Set the acceleration factor to 50 so the execution time increases 50 times faster than the real time.
See Executing a Graphical Scenario.

User Defined Acceleration Factor
Defines your own acceleration factor.
Enter a specific acceleration factor:
  • To speed up, enter a positive integer.
  • To slow down, enter a decimal between 0 and 1.
See Executing a Graphical Scenario.
