Starting a Server

To enable the connection of an OPC UA client, you can work with Systems Experience Validation, which acts as an OPC UA server.

Before you begin:

Define OPC UA parameters for some ports and expose these ports. For more information, see Defining Port Parameters.
Execute a system experience. For more information, see Building and Executing a System Experience.

From the Standard area of the action bar, click OPC UA Information Panel .
In the OPC UA Information Panel, enter a port value in the OPC UA Server Port field.
Click Start OPC UA server  to start the server.

Note: You can stop a server by clicking Stop OPC UA server .

Lines containing the information on the starting of the server are added to the message list in the dialog box.
