Data Views

Most dashboard apps can display their data in several views. Each view presents information about the items in either a table or tile format.

Note: Some dashboard apps do not allow you to display data in all the following views.

View Description
Data Grid View Displays information in a table that contains one row for each item.

This view is useful when you want to see the most detailed information about items, and to sort or group them based on this information.

Tip: You can edit the Data Grid View to specify each column's visibility, width, order, pinned location, sort order, and data display density. For more information, see Configuring the Data Grid View.

Tile View Displays each item as a small tile.

This view is useful when you want to see minimal information about each item in a compact format.

Thumbnail View Displays each item as a medium-sized tile.

This view is useful when you want to see information about each item in a comfortable format. Depending on the app, the tiles may display more information than in the Tile View. The item's image is displayed in a large format.

Large Tile View Displays each item as a large tile that spans the width of the page.

This view is useful when you want to see the information displayed in the tile view, while displaying the tiles in a list down the page. Depending on the app, the tiles may display more information than in the Tile View.
