Configuring Product Positioning and Object Filtering

You can configure the options to opt for free positioning of products or snap products to fixtures. You can also configure the options for object filtering in Store Studio.


Before you begin: You must have the Administrator role (VPLMAdmin). For more information, see: Managing Persons, Roles, Organizations, and Collaborative Spaces in the People & Organizations and Content - Administration guide.

Access Configuration Files
  1. Access the configuration files.
  2. In the Configuration Files page, download the ENOSHOExperience_Configuration.xml file.
  3. Modify the file to configure the product positioning and object filtering properties.
    • Configure the attributes of the Experience tag.
      Attributes Description Values
      id Defines the identifier. Text value.
    • Configure the attributes of the SnapOnLayingZone tag.
      Attributes Description Values
      value Defines if the product is positioned freely or is snapped to fixtures.
      • true: When an imported floor fixture is placed inside a scene and then a product with folding configuration is placed, the product is aligned and snapped to the front of the laying zone.
      • false: When an imported floor fixture is placed inside a scene and then a product with folding configuration is placed, the product is not placed according to the laying zone rules.
    • Configure the attributes of the FilterByObjectState tag.
      Attributes Description Values
      private Defines whether objects in the Private state are displayed in the search results in Store Studio.
      • true: Objects in the Private state are shown in the search results.
      • false: Objects in the Private state are not shown in the search results.
      inwork Defines whether objects in the In Work state are displayed in the search results in Store Studio.
      • true: Objects in the In Work state are shown in the search results.
      • false: Objects in the In Work state are not shown in the search results.
      frozen Defines whether objects in the Frozen state are displayed in the search results in Store Studio.
      • true: Objects in the Frozen state are shown in the search results.
      • false: Objects in the Frozen state are not shown in the search results.
      released Defines whether objects in the Released state are displayed in the search results in Store Studio.
      • true: Objects in the Released state are shown in the search results.
      • false: Objects in the Released state are not shown in the search results.
      obsolete Defines whether objects in the Obsolete state are displayed in the search results in Store Studio.
      • true: Objects in the Obsolete state are shown in the search results.
      • false: Objects in the Obsolete state are not shown in the search results.

      The lifecycle states that you configure as true are selected in the Advanced Search Configuration dialog box and the Advanced Search Configuration quick selector in Store Studio.

  4. Upload the modified file.
