About the Furniture Catalog

Creating a catalog of furniture allows you to handle the furniture around the products in a store. To place the products in a store, the following furniture is available: gondola sections, shelves, peg supports, pegs, hanging bars, drawers, pallets, and assets with representations. You can configure standard furniture, by changing the default parameters to your convenience, to create your very own furniture catalog.

Gondola Sections

A gondola section is the base element to build a gondola. Other furniture (shelves and peg supports) is placed on the gondola section.

Assets with Representations

Assets with representations allows you to upload your own 3D model and use it as an asset in Store Studio. Whereas regular parametric assets are computed by the 3D Merchandising app, assets with representations allows you to associate an existing model with a representation, and place products. This type of assets often concerns points of sales material. A representation needs to be created first, and later associated with an asset.

Here is an example of an asset with representation:

In this case, it is a table onto which you can place products.

Note: The table alone cannot be updated in Store Studio but the products placed on it can be modified.
