Inserting Products

You can insert products in the work area in Store Studio, and place them on furniture. You can also insert multiple products on pegs.

Before you begin: Create an assortment, and a gondola in the 3D Merchandising app. For more information, see Managing Gondolas, Scenes, and Stores.

Insert Products

You can insert products and place them on supports.

  1. From the Sub Assortment tab in Store Studio, click the product you want to place on the gondola section.
  2. Drag it to the required support.


    Notes:
    • You can also search for the required product and add it.
    • The inserted products are marked with the green check circle .

The products are inserted and placed in Store Studio.

Insert Multiple Products on Pegs

You can select multiple products and add them to pegs. You can add them to peg hooks, peg arms, and cranks.

  1. From the Sub Assortment tab in Store Studio, press Ctrl, and select multiple products.
    You can also select multiple products from the search results. You can click the first object, press Shift, and click the last object to select all objects.
  2. Perform any of the following actions. Hover over a peg support, find a location for a peg, and click the location.
    • To add the products to an existing peg, click the peg.
    • To add the products to a new peg, hover over a peg support, find a location for a peg, and click the location.
    One item of each product is added. They are added in the order in which you selected them. When you add multiple products to a new crank, you can place them only in the front zone. However, when you add products to an existing crank, you can place them on any horizontal area.
  3. Optional: Perform the following actions to modify the number of items of each product.
    1. Select the peg and click the Properties tab.
    2. In the Representations Placement section, click on a product to increase its count.
      You can also click to decrease its count.
    3. Click to validate the change.
      If the products are able to fit on the peg, the change is applied in the 3D. Otherwise, a warning appears and the change is not applied in the 3D.

The products are inserted and placed on the peg.
