Configuring the Master Simulation Project

You can configure the master simulation project using CST Studio Suite to improve the simulations of your coverage tests.

Before you begin: Create coverage tests, as described in Creating a Coverage Test.

About the Master Simulation Project
  1. From the Antenna Placement section of the action bar, click Configure Simulation .
    The 3DEXPERIENCE platform saves your simulation. CST Studio Suite opens, automatically downloads your assembly, initializes the master simulation project, and notifies you when this process is complete. A sequence task, including hybrid solver and postprocessing tasks, appears in CST Studio Suite for each of your coverage tests.
  2. In CST Studio Suite, do the following:
    1. Customize the sequence task and its child tasks for each of your coverage tests.
    2. Click Save All to save all the tasks in the master simulation project.

      Important: Do not attempt to run the master simulation project using CST Studio Suite; the antenna positioning information has not yet been applied.

    3. Close CST Studio Suite.
    The updated master simulation project is saved to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, and control returns to Antenna Placement.
