Creating a Coverage Test

You can define a coverage test to run a simulation of an antenna's installed performance.


Before you begin: Define at least one placement candidate for each antenna, as described in Defining a Placement Candidate.

  1. From the Antenna Placement section of the action bar, click Coverage Test .
  2. Optional: Enter a descriptive Name.
  3. From the Antennas options, select at least one antenna.

    Tip: You can also select placement candidate glyphs in the 3D area.

    The first antenna that you select is the active antenna, and the app displays its placement candidate glyph in red. Any subsequent antennas that you select are passive antennas, and the app displays the placement candidate glyphs of those antennas in blue.
  4. Optional: For each selected antenna, select a different placement candidate to simulate.
    The app updates the colors of all the corresponding placement candidate glyphs.
  5. Optional: From the Active antenna options, select a different antenna to be the active antenna.
