  1. From the Objectives & Constraints section of the action bar, click Fastener Force Constraint .
  2. Optional: Enter a descriptive Name.
  3. Select the support for which you want to constrain the fastener force.
  4. Select the Loading.

You define the loading by selecting a step or load case that is used to compute the fastener force. The default is all load cases.

  5. Enter a maximum value for the Axial force.
  6. Enter a maximum value for the Shear force.
  7. Click OK.

The fastener axial and shear forces are constrained to be no more than the maximum values that you entered.
