Configuring a Study

You can choose a sampling mode for design points in the study and select camera positions for producing results images.


Before you begin: You must already have created the cameras that you want to use.

About Study Configurations
  1. From the Simulate section of the action bar, click Study Configuration .
  2. In the General tab, specify the design point options:
    1. Specify the Number of points for the study.
    2. From the Sampling mode options, select one of the following:

      Option Description
      Global Selects design points that uniformly cover the design space.
      Guided Selects and runs a few initial design points, then selects the next set based on areas with better results.

  3. In the Results tab, select the cameras used for producing results images.
  4. Click OK to save your changes.
