Station Administration Command Reference

The Station Administration app provides commands that let you configure and manage your 3DOrchestrate Stations.

This command toolbar is available when you have selected a 3DOrchestrate Distribution Server in the server/station tree. For some of the commands, you must first select the checkbox of the stations to which the command is to be applied.

CommandDefinition
Create Station

Create a new station configuration. The station name and properties you enter must match an actual computer or server on which the station software is installed. See Configuring a New Station. After this command is completed, use Restart Station for this station.

Create Group

You can define a group of 3DOrchestrate Stations to set up and manage their configuration properties together. See Configuring a Group of Stations.

Import

Import any number of station configurations from a .json (JavaScript Object Notation) file.

Multi-Selection Menu Commands

You can select one or more stations in the list and choose any of the following commands from the Multi-Selection Mode pulldown menu.

Delete Stations/GroupsDelete the selected station configurations or groups.
Export to a File

Export the configuration of the selected stations to a .json file. You can replicate this JSON format to create a file of new station configurations to import.

Pause Station

Pause the station so that no new work items are accepted for processing.

Resume Station

Resume processing of new work items.

Stop Station

Force the station program to shut down. You can choose to Wait for work items to complete or Abort current running work items.

Restart Station

Force the station program to shut down and restart. You can choose to Wait for work items to complete or Abort current running work items.

Add Stations to Group

Add the selected stations to a group.

Remove Stations from Group

Remove the selected stations from a group.
