Configuring Oracle Automatically with the Deployment Utility

When you set the Database Type to the Oracle default in the deployment utility, the utility will handle most of the database schema configuration for you.

Before you begin: The 3DOrchestrate Distribution Server must be installed.

  1. Start the 3DOrchestrate deployment utility in one of two ways:
    • From the final panel of the 3DOrchestrate Distribution Server installer. See Installing the 3DOrchestrate Distribution Server.

    • Execute the following batch or script file (after the installer has completed):

      <server_install_dir>\win_b64\reffiles\SMAExeServer\deploy\smaexe-deploy.bat
      <server_install_dir>/linux_a64/reffiles/SMAExeServer/deploy/smaexe-deploy.sh
  2. In the General Settings tab of the deployment utility, select Oracle as the database type.
  3. In the Oracle Settings tab, enter all of the required information.
  4. In the Deploy tab, choose the combined action Configure all.
  5. Click Execute.
