After you register a station as a Windows service, you can start it and allow it to connect to the designated 3DOrchestrate Server.
Once started and connected, the station running as a service is ready to operate like any
regular public 3DOrchestrate EER Station.
A station running as a Windows service starts automatically when the server restarts. Therefore, these instructions apply
only for a station running as a service that has been stopped manually.
Do one of the following:
If the command prompt from the previous
step
(Registering an EER Station as a Windows Service) is still open, the script
prompts you to start the EER station as a Windows service. Press Y.
If the configuration script is not running in a command prompt, start the WindowsServices dashboard, select the
3DEXPERIENCErelease
number
3DOrchestration Station service, and click Start
Service.
Open a command prompt, and run the following script from the 3DOrchestrate home
directory:
.\code\command\SMAExeStationAsService-Start.bat
At the
prompt, press Y to start the EER station as a service.
