Specifying Thermoelectric Cooler Parameters

You can specify the parameters of a thermoelectric cooler (TEC) component to fit your specific scenario. These parameters override the parameters that you specified when defining the TEC component.

Before you begin:

Define a TEC component using the Fluid Model Creation app, as described in Defining a Thermoelectric Cooler Component.
Define an analysis case, as described in Procedures.

About Thermoelectric Cooler Components

From the E-Cooling section of the action bar, click TEC .
Optional: Enter a descriptive Name.
From the 3D area, select a TEC component as the support.
Enter a value for the Operating voltage, which is the voltage at which current passes through the TEC during its operation.
Enter a value for the Operating current, which is the electric current passing through the TEC during its operation.
Click OK.
