Position the pointer over the object that you want to hide.

Press F6 to hide the surface directly behind the pointer, or
press F7 to hide the entire part.
Press F6 or F7 again to hide another
surface or part, effectively "digging" through your assembly.
The surface or component becomes transparent, and you can no longer select it.
You can now view or select objects that are behind the hidden surface or
component.

Interact with the objects that interest you.
For example, you can select supports.

Perform either of the following actions to restore the surfaces or components in the
3D area:
- Press F8 to restore all surfaces or components hidden by the
digger.
- Press F9 to restore only the most recently hidden surface or
component; you can press F9 repeatedly to restore hidden
surfaces or components in reverse sequence.
