Motion Analysis is a native app that lets you:

  • Create mechanisms automatically based on an existing product assembly.
  • Account for products and engineering connections (for example, mechanism bodies and joints, respectively) when creating mechanisms.
  • Use joints to edit or enhance the kinematic definition of the mechanism.
  • Model dynamic part body interactions, such as springs, bushings, or contact interactions.
  • Add motion-specific elements, such as helical or torsional springs, cylindrical bushings.
  • Set up dynamic motion scenarios using joint driver and force/torque excitation.
  • Define a system's excitation using joint drivers or force/torque elements.
  • Create an analysis case with kinematic or dynamic steps.
  • Run an analysis with real-time visual feedback.
  • Analyze the results of a simulation using animations and 2D plots.
