Co-Simulation Experiment Interactions

The input port, output port, and port region features let you use your simulation in a co-simulation in the Multiscale Experiment Creation app.

Input ports and output ports define scalar variable connections between components in the co-simulation experiment.

Port regions become region-to-region connections in the co-simulation experiment. These connections define the physical nature of the interaction between two 3D regions and specify the exchange of field output variables.

After defining the port features you need, use the Publish to Multiscale Component command to save the information to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform database.
