Adding a New Blank Component

You can add a new, blank component to an experiment.

  1. From the Configuration section of the action bar, click Add New Component .
  2. Enter a Name to assign to the component.

    This name can be any identifier you choose.

The blank component is added to your experiment canvas. You can drag it anywhere in the experiment diagram, and you can resize it.

You must assign at least one abstraction to a blank component before executing your experiment. To populate the component with one or more FMU abstractions, drag and drop the FMU file(s) from your Windows desktop.
