From the Execution section of the action bar, click
Execution Options.
Specify the following global options:
Option
Description
Run Time Limit
Maximum amount of time (in seconds) allowed to run this experiment. This option prevents
the experiment from running indefinitely. It applies only to an on-premises LSF DRM
system.
Cleanup
Specifies when to delete files from the working directory. You might sometimes want to keep
these files for archiving or troubleshooting.
On the cloud only: The
Total Cost Estimate shows the estimated number of simulation
licensing tokens or
credits
required for the experiment.
Optional:
To run all of the experiment components on your computer, select Click to
apply {localhost} to all activities.
If you do not already have the 3DOrchestrate Station software installed on your computer, select the Station Launcher
from the Compass before you run the experiment.
For the Cosimulation Master executable and for each experiment component, select the following options:
Option
Description
Location
Type of distributed resource management system used by the 3DOrchestrate execution system.
If your system administrator has configured your on-premises 3DOrchestrate system with an LSF system, select LSF. If not, select
Built-in.
Station Name
3DOrchestrate Station on which to run this component. Ask your system administrator if particular
stations are configured to run different simulation applications.
CPUs*
Number of CPUs (processor cores) to run a CFD fluid simulation component.
For Abaqus/CAE.3dfmu components, the maximum number of
execution
CPUs is 64.
Cost Estimate*
Estimated number of simulation licensing tokens consumed by this component.
This estimate is not available for an Abaqus/CAE.3dfmu file.
* CPUs and Cost Estimate are available
only for
newly
published physics simulation components. They are not available for
Abaqus/CAE.3dfmu components.
