About Analysis Cases in Simulation Manager

Analysis cases are containers for different simulation features within a Physics Simulation object.

Some types of simulations can have individual analysis cases that you can run in Simulation Manager. Analysis cases are essentially different sub-simulations within a Physics Simulation object.

Analysis cases can be useful to group different simulations of the same model, or to organize and group similar simulation scenarios.

An analysis case contains its own simulation features such as initial conditions, restraints, loads, and output requests. Each analysis case represents a complete simulation that you can run. You can run an individual analysis case using Simulation Manager.

A Physics Simulationobject refers to the product being simulated, as well as all the simulation data specified or created in the definition of the simulation, including analysis cases. The Physics Simulation object can contain multiple analysis cases.
