Creating an Abaqus Simulation Object

You can create a simulation object that contains an analysis case. You can upload an Abaqus input file to the analysis case.

  1. From the toolbar in the simulations panel, click Create Simulation .
  2. From the Type options, select Abaqus.
  3. Enter a descriptive Title for the simulation object.
  4. Enter a Description for the simulation object.
  5. To overwrite the default, enter a new Analysis case title.

    You can create additional analysis cases after creating the simulation object. For more information, see Creating an Additional Abaqus Analysis Case.

  6. Click Create.
    The new simulation appears in the simulations panel and is selected automatically.
  7. In the simulation details panel, click the Content tab.
  8. To upload your Abaqus input file, click Upload or drag the file into the Content tab .
