  1. From the toolbar in the details panel or the simulations panel, click Run .
    The run configuration options appear.
  2. From the License options, select one of the following:
    OptionDescription
Tokens Licensing items that are checked out from the license pool to run the simulation and then returned when it is complete.
    Credits One-time consumable licensing items.

For more information about tokens and credits, see Simulation Licensing.

  3. Specify the Configuration for computing the simulation.

Simulation Manager automatically selects the compute configuration that should run your simulation most efficiently and economically. Occasionally you may want to override this configuration. You can edit the compute configuration by selecting the number of cores.

  4. Click Run.

Simulation Manager submits a simulation job to run on the cloud. Click the Monitor tab to view run details. Once the job runs, you can download results files from the Content tab to process the simulation results. You can view the output files in the Log tab. If the simulation fails, you can view the .sh.out file in the Content tab.
