Running an XFlow Simulation

You can configure submission options and run an XFlow simulation on the cloud.

  1. From XFlow, open the 3DEXPERIENCE menu and click Save Model to 3DEXPERIENCE.

  2. From a dashboard, open Simulation Manager.
  3. From the simulations panel on the left, select the XFlow simulation.
  4. From the toolbar in the details panel or the simulations panel, click Run .
    The run configuration options appear.
  5. From the License options, select one of the following:
    OptionDescription
    Tokens Licensing items that are checked out from the license pool to run the simulation and then returned when it is complete.
    Credits One-time consumable licensing items.

    The dialog box shows an estimate of how many tokens or credits the job will consume. When the simulation is complete, the License Usage column on the Summary tab shows how many were consumed. For more information about tokens and credits, see Simulation Licensing.

  6. Specify the Configuration for computing the simulation.
  7. Click Run.
    Simulation Manager submits a simulation job to run on the cloud.
  8. Optional: Monitor simulation information while it is running:
    1. Open the Logs tab to view the log files and preprocessing information. Use the list to select which log file to open.
    2. Open the Summary tab to view run details.
    3. Open the Content tab to view or download all the generated files. You can access these files while the job is running and when it completes.

When the simulation is complete, you can view the results using a remote session.
