Managing Simulation Attributes

For each simulation attribute, you can edit values, delete attributes, and view objects that reference the attribute.

You can also add an attribute to search to use its value as a search term.

Edit an Attribute

  1. From the Attributes tab, select an attribute.
  2. From the toolbar, click .
  3. Edit the attribute options.
  4. Click OK.

Delete an Attribute

  1. From the Attributes tab, select the attributes to delete.
  2. From the toolbar, click .

The selected attributes are deleted.

Add an Attribute to Search

  1. From the Attributes tab, select one or more attributes.
  2. Click to enable filtering for selected attributes in an advanced search.

    If enabled, you can search for an object, such as a simulation process, that contains an attribute with a specified value, such as a string or a range of numbers. For more information, see About 3DSearch Queries.

Determine Where an Attribute Is Used

  1. From the Attributes tab, select one or more attributes.
  2. From the toolbar, click to see a list of the attribute groups that use the attribute.
