Traceable Requirements Management allows you to associate parameters with a requirement. Each parameter, in turn, has a set of attributes. For example, attributes include the name, title, and objective type (target, minimize, or maximize). For a description of parameters and requirements, see "Working With Parameters" in the Traceable Requirements Management User's Guide. You can import parameters that are created inside a requirement into Performance Trade-off and perform a trade-off analysis. When you import a requirement into Performance Trade-off, you can map the parameters associated with the requirement to parameters in the analytics case. The attributes of a Traceable Requirements Management parameter are imported into the definition of a Performance Trade-off parameter, as shown in the following table:
Click from the action bar to search for requirements created with Traceable Requirements Management and import them into your analytics case. You can also import requirements from a Traceable Requirements objects by dragging and dropping the object into the header of the Requirements column on the Compare page. Where possible, Performance Trade-off maps the imported requirements by matching the name of the requirement with the name of an existing parameter. For more information, see Mapping Between Parameters and Requirements. |
