Drag the Traceable Requirements Management app from the Compass to your dashboard.

Create a
Requirement Specification.

Right-click on the new specification, and select
Insert New Requirement.

Enter a name for the new requirement.

Right-click on the new requirement, and select
Insert New Parameter.

From the
Parameters page that appears, enter a title
for the parameter.

Choose a
Dimension for the parameter
(Real,
Integer, or
String).

Click
Details to access the priority and function
settings.

Enter the
Priority.
Performance Trade-off
recognizes values between
0 and
5. A value of
0 maps to a priority of
MH (must have) in
Performance Trade-off.

From the
Function menu, select
Objective.

From the
Type menu, select the objective type
(Minimize,
Maximize, or
Target).

If you selected
Target, enter the
Min value and the
Max value.

Click
OK to create the
Traceable Requirements Management
parameter.
