Validation and Verification Library

Validation and Verification Library is a dashboard app that you can use to:

• Create, modify, copy, or delete test scripts.
• Change the script lifecycle maturity level.
• Define test steps within test scripts.
• Create, modify, reorder, and delete test steps.

You can create reusable test scripts (sets of instructions to test system integrity and performance) and manage the maturity of these test scripts. You can also customize the test scripts with customer extensions.

You can also customize the test results with customer extensions. Customer extensions are specialization types or deployment extensions that provide additional attributes on-premises. For example, you can use specialization types to classify different types of test cases, such as validation tests and verification tests.

Typically, the methods developer creates the test scripts. When each test script is ready for review, the methods developer moves the test script from InWork to Frozen. The project leader then confirms all conditions are satisfied and moves the test script from Frozen to Released.
