Linking and Unlinking Test Cases

You can link and unlink existing test cases from test specifications to satisfy test requirements.

Link Test Cases

You can link existing test cases to the selected test specification.

  1. From the Review pane, select the test specification.
  2. Click Test Case.
  3. Click Copy/Link existing Test Cases.
  4. Select Link.
  5. Drag the test cases that you want to link to the selected test specification.
  6. Click Add.

Validation and Verification Strategy adds the selected test cases to the tree in the Review pane.

Unlink Test Cases

You can unlink a test case when it is no longer required for testing. Unlinking a selected test case deletes all the test executions within the associated test specification.

  1. From the Review pane, select the test case.
  2. Click Unlink.
  3. Click Confirm Unlink to unlink the test case.

Validation and Verification Strategy unlinks the selected test case from the tree in the Review pane.
