Control Logic Dialog Box

The Control Logic dialog box appears when you select a control on a card and select from the Card Editor menu bar Control > Control Logic.

This dialog box contains controls for the Actions that should update this Control area.

Attribute Column

Use this column to click actions that lead to the selection of one or more attributes. The attributes are to control the logic that makes the control unavailable.

Actions: Click here to add action
Lets you select either:
  • Grey out to make the control read-only for users who meet the condition.
  • Hidden to make the control hidden for users who meet the condition.
Action: Click here to add condition
Only appears after you select an action. Lets you select an attribute. Alternatively, you can select:
  • { Or to select two or more conditions, any of which must be met to make the control unavailable.
  • & And to select two or more conditions, all of which must be met to make the control unavailable.

Comparison Column

From the list, select a comparison that tells the software how to interpret the attribute value, for example, Text Equal To or Text Not Equal To.

The list only appears after you select an attribute.

Value Column

Displays a text box after you select an attribute for the action. Use the text box to type a value for the attribute.
