Adding a Frame

Use the Frame to add a frame to a group of controls. For example, you might add a frame around two or more radio buttons to group the buttons together.


Before you begin:
  • Open an existing card or start a new card.
  • Create on the card the controls that you want to frame.

  1. Click Frame or select Edit > Mode > Frame.
  2. Click the card where you want to locate the frame, and drag the frame around the controls that you are visually grouping together.
  3. From the Frame properties pane, select either:
    • Free text and type the frame title or clear the default text.

      Your entry appears as the title in the upper left corner of the frame. If you leave the field empty, the frame is untitled.

    • Standard text and select one of the following:
      • Today's Date
      • Current Time
      • Iteration Comment - Comment from the most recent file check in
      • File Path - File name and full path to the selected file
      • Latest iteration
      • Current state - Current workflow state
      • File name
      • File name without extension

      Your selection appears on the card as the attribute for the frame title.

  4. To add language translations for the Free text entry:
    1. Click Localization .
    2. Complete the Localization dialog box.

After you save the customized card, the card includes your frame to reflect your visual grouping.
