Text Boxes

This section includes two text boxes.

Find
Type in Find the string that Connector for SOLIDWORKS is to locate in the file names you are copying or archiving. For example if you want to replace "handle" in the file names you are copying or archiving, type handle in Find.

The find is not case sensitive.

Replace with
Type in Replace with the string Connector for SOLIDWORKS is to substitute for strings it locates in the find. For example, if you want to replace "handle" in the file names with grip. Type grip in Replace with.

Apply to

Your selection in this section determines which files or folders are to contain your suffix. Apply to contains the following options:

All
Select this option to apply the find and replace to all the files that you are to copy or archive.

If you fail to select files in the Copy Structure dialog box, All is the only available option.

Selected files only
Select this option to apply the find and replace to only the selected files in the Copy Structure dialog box.

This option is unavailable if you do not select files in the Copy Structure dialog box.

File name
Select this check box to have Connector for SOLIDWORKS apply the find and replace on files you are copying or archiving.
Folders
Select this check box to have Connector for SOLIDWORKS apply the find and replace on folders that are part of the copy or archive.
