- To display or hide a view tab:
- Right-click one of the view tabs.
For example, right-click the Preview tab. - From the menu, select any tabs that you want to display, and clear the check box of any tabs that you want to hide.
For example, to hide the Preview tab, clear the check box. To display a previously hidden tab, such as the Contains tab, click Contains.
You cannot hide the Search tab. The menu always shows Search with a check mark. -
To
make a tab the default tab, from the right-click menu for the tab, click Default.
The default tab is the tab the system displays when you click a file. You can make any tab the default tab for assemblies, parts, or drawings. For folders, you can only make the Properties or Search tab the default.

To move a tab to another location on the view bar, drag the tab to the desired location on the view bar.
For example, to move the Preview tab to the tab location after the default location for the Where Used tab, drag the Preview tab to right of the Where Used tab.
You cannot move the Search tab. It is always right-aligned on the view bar.
