Creating Louvers

You can create louvers by specifying punch geometrical parameters.

Before you begin: Create a wall and sketch a closed profile on its face.
  1. From the Refine section of the action bar, click Louver .
  2. Select the profile.
    Important: The louver opening face is represented by the element in the sketch that does not present any tangency continuity with the other lines or curve segments of the sketch. If there are several non-continuous elements, the first one is used as the opening face.
    Notes:
    • If there is no existing sketch, click Sketch to draw one.
    • You can also click Open catalog to insert a profile from a catalog. For more information, see Browsing the Sheetmetal Catalog.
  3. In the Opening line box, select an edge of the sketch.

    The edge indicates the position of the opening face of the louver.

  4. To visualize the louver, click Preview.
  5. Define the following parameters:
