Modifying the Bounding Box by Changing Dimensions

You can modify the bounding box by changing the dimensions of the bounding box.

Before you begin: Open a reference plane system.

About Bounding Box
  1. From the Operations section of the action bar, click Edit Bounding Box .
    The reference plane system appears in the edition mode displaying the length, width, and height values.

  2. Click any one of the value editor boxes.


  3. Enter the required dimension value.
  4. Click anywhere in the work area.
    The bounding box limit is modified. The new dimensions are displayed in the 3D area. Depending on the association of bounding box with reference planes, there may be change in the number of the reference planes in that particular direction.

    The following image shows the newly added reference planes along the height and the modified height dimension.
