Flipping Edges

You can flip edges of triangles of a mesh, by rotating the edges common to several triangles without modifying their vertices. The meshing may become less harmonious but provides a better respect of the shape of the part because the triangles are oriented in the direction of the shape, in particular for sharp edge fillets. This is particularly important for milling operations that may follow. See also About Flipping Edges.

Before you begin: This command is available in 3D Printing Preparation, not in 3D Printing.

For a better view, specify the mesh display option as Flat. See Display Modes
