Validating a New Community Request

You must analyze new community requests before validating them.


Before you begin:
  • You must be Administrator of the platform.
  • The Under administrators approval option must be selected. For more information, see the Features section of the Manage Settings tab.
  1. Select either of the following:
    • From the top bar, select Communities Menu > 3DSwym Management.
    • Access the Communities Control Center widget in the Compass or in the Communities tab of the Platform Management dashboard.
  2. Select the tab.
    Note: If you have activated 3DSwym 3DNotification, you can click the alert that appears on the top right of the page, click the notification in the 3DNotification Center or the link sent to you by email.
  3. In the Pending Community Creation Requests section, click a request in the list.
  4. Optional: If you decline or send the request back for review, fill-in the General Comments & Remarks.
  5. Click:
    • Decline request: to notify the user that his request has been refused.
    • Send back for review: to notify the user that some community settings need to be reviewed before validating his request.
    • Accept & Create: to validate and notify the user that his community request has been accepted.

Manage Requests

  • A notification is sent to the user who requested the community.
  • If you accept or reject the request, the answer that you provided is added to the Community Requests History section. You can click the row corresponding to your answer to access its details. If you clicked Send back for review, the request is removed from the Pending Community Creation Requests. Once the requester has answered your question. The request appears back in this section. Click it again to manage the request again.
