Preferences

Preferences determine overall behaviors for the Collaborative Tasks app.

From the upper-right corner, click .

Field Name Description
Credentials The space for a user when logging in. Any new task created in the app will belong to that collaborative space. If not a collaborative space, then one that is private.

Set your credentials to "private" to create standalone tasks. Standalone tasks contain more information than simple tasks and can later be associated with a Project Planningproject.

If you are not assigned to a collaborative space, you see the text "You do not have access to a Collaborative Space." You are allowed to work with tasks in the app that are not connected to a collaborative space. Or you can set your credentials to private.

3DEXPERIENCE Platform Which tenant that the app relies on. Especially useful in a cloud environment.
Show project tasks If you are a licensed Project Management user, this is checked by default to allow you to view project tasks in addition to nonproject tasks.
Note: Project tasks created in Project Management display when this option is unchecked and a project is entered in the Context.
Receive email notifications on task assignment (On premises only) For on premises, this field enables email notifications (non 3DNotifications) to users when tasks are assigned and unassigned. For an assigned task, the notification has a URL link to open the task in the Collaborative Tasks app. If the user is assigned a project task, the notification has an additional URL link to open the task in the Project Management app.

Task assignment email notification is triggered only when the assigned task is in the To Do state or beyond.
Show Completed Tasks Choose the time range for displaying completed tasks: Last 30 Days (default), Last 10 Days, Last 60 Days, or ALL.
