Systems Traceability Dashboarding

Systems engineering requires several software for modeling requirements, systems architecture, simulation... Systems Traceability Dashboarding helps display all these models with their traceability from a single user interface. Systems Traceability Dashboarding also helps create and manage traceability between these models through scope definition and pattern analysis.

These models can be created with Dassault Systèmes' apps (Functional & Logical Design, System Finder, Traceable Requirements Management...), Industry standards (AUTOSAR, FMI models...) or with other software (MATLAB, Simulink...). These models can be stored in the 3DEXPERIENCE platform or accessed from external repositories and data sources (such as IBM Rational DOORS).

For systems engineers, Systems Traceability Dashboarding provides the following key capabilities:

  • Navigation on models, link sets, and implement links (with properties display)
  • Customized navigation with a semantic browser
  • Traceability analysis through scope creation and editing
  • Links and link set creation
  • Models and documents comparison with Diff
  • Analysis through patterns
  • Review editing

Important: If you are using a role including licenses for both Systems Traceability Dashboarding and Systems Synthesis:
  • In Systems Synthesis, the Systems Traceability Dashboarding commands are displayed, and editing is authorized. The two apps propose the same functionalities.
  • If you intend to share this widget with a user that does not have a Systems Traceability Dashboarding license, you should edit traceability in Systems Synthesis.
