Filtering Traceability with a Configuration Filter

To filter your analysis, you can take advantage of a configuration filter applied to requirements, functional, logical, and physical objects.

Before you begin: Apply a configuration filter to a root element. For more information, see Defining Root Elements Parameters.
  1. Open a scope, and expand the Roots node.
An icon appears on the filtered root element, to indicate that a filter is applied (a product configuration filter or a model version).
  2. Click this icon to open the configuration filter or the model version.
Tip: You can also add a configuration filter to context and filter your navigation. When opening traceability, the filter is applied to the result. Note that:
  • If a configuration filter is applied to a root element, the configuration filter as context is not taken into account.
  • After adding a configuration filter in context, click Refresh to update the traceability result.
For more information, see Navigating in Context.
