Retrieving Links from an .rqtfimage

An .rqtfimage file is considered as a link set that can be inserted in a scope to retrieve the Reqtify links between documents.

Before you begin:
  1. From Project Management, insert in a folder:
    • An .rqtfimage document
    • Some documents that are referenced by the .rqtfimage
  2. From Systems Traceability Dashboarding, declare the root mapping. For more information, see Analyzing Links from an .rqtfimage File.
  3. Open this folder.
  1. Open a scope.
  2. From the context toolbar, click Edit .
  3. From the folder, drag the .rqtfimage to the work area, in the scope.
The .rqtfimage document is imported in the Roots node, and the corresponding Reqtify elements and links are imported in the Traceability node.

  4. In the Traceability node, click the .rqtfimage document.
    The links are displayed.

Important: The links retrieval relies on reconciliation. This links mapping is not available with all documents. For example, it works for Word chapters, but not for Word requirements.
