Builds Page

The Builds page, which lists the summary of builds assigned to a part, is displayed in the Unit PowerView only if the related part marking is serialized.

  1. Access the Properties page of the part for which you want to view builds.
  2. Click the Unit PowerView category.

Columns

You can expand or collapse each build level by clicking the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons to the left of the build name.

Column Description
Name Name of the build
Type Build type
State Current state of the build in its lifecycle
Owner Person who is currently assigned responsibility for the build
Description Details about the build
Build Serial Number Assigned serial number for the build
Build DispositionCurrent status or disposition of the build. Possible values are:
  • Production
  • Shipped
  • Service
  • Inventory
  • N/A
  • Blank
Shorthand Notation Assigned shorthand name for the build
Planned Build Date Date when the build is planned to be built
Actual Build Date Date on which the build is actually built
Date Shipped Date the build is shipped
Customer Customer for whom the build is intended
ProductBuild’s context product
Product ConfigurationBuild’s context product configuration. The product configuration must be related to the build’s context product.
