Switching Representations to Visu Mode

To optimize the memory consumed by the representation data, you can switch all the representations of selected branches to Visu mode. The Visu mode enables you to visualize representations with a lightweight rendering, but editing is not possible. Switching representations to the Visu mode does not modify the persistent data.

Before you begin:
  1. Open a product with representations.
  2. Switch to Edit mode. See Switching Representations to Edit Mode.
  1. In the tree, select one or more branches with representations.

    Note: All the representations in this branch (parent and child levels of your selection) are taken into account.

  2. From the Tools section of the action bar, click Switch to Visu Mode .
  3. Click Yes to confirm the action.
    In the selected branch, all representations are now displayed with the Visu mode, except:
    • Representation with modified data
    • Representation with expanded node in the tree
