Switching Representations to Edit Mode

By default, when opening a product with representations, they are displayed in Visu mode (that is, a lightweight display mode to optimize memory). To fully edit representations, you must switch them to Edit mode.

The Edit mode also enables you to perform additional operations. For example, in Product Structure Design, the Edit mode is required for seeing representations in the NoShow space.

Tip: You cannot switch to Edit mode if the available memory is too low (a warning message appears). To be informed, select Memory Warning in Me > Preferences > App Preferences > 3D Modeling > Systems Architecture > General > Commands. For more information, see Native Apps Preferences Guide: General.
