Updating FTA Capture Picture Markers

You can update the snapshot inside the out-of-date Picture Markers with the latest content. B.I. Essentials help identify the Operations and Images (2D Picture Markers) that are out-of-date because changes in the source of the FTA Capture.

  1. From the Operation bar, select an Operation, which is linked to the product data owning the outdated capture.
    To access the B.I. Essentials list, from the Tools section of the action bar, click B.I. Essentials option and select Image from FTA Capture Status. This gives you the Picture Markers status, out of date.

  2. Close the B.I. Essentials panel.
  3. Click Update FTA Capture Picture Markers.
    This displays a message and ends if there are changes done by you that have not been applied to a View.

    The Views under an Operation could contain:

    • All FTA Capture Markers are up-to-date - A All FTA Capture Markers are currently up-to-date message displays if the update command executes.
    • Some of the FTA Capture Markers are not up-to-date - A Some / All FTA Capture Markers are not up-to-date. They are not eligible for automatic update. They will have to be updated manually message displays if the update command executes.
      • Upon completion, a message in the following format appears:
        • 2 of 2 FTA Capture Markers were out of date.
        • 2 markers have been updated.
    • None of the FTA Capture Markers are up-to-date - A None of the FTA Capture Markers are up-to-date. They are not eligible for automatic update. They will have to be updated manually message displays if the update command executes.
  4. Relaunch the B.I. Essentials panel.
    The Picture marker is now up to date.

    Note: The thumbnail containing the picture marker also updates to reflect any changes made to the capture.

This can only update those Picture Markers that have been created after the delivery of this functionality.

All Picture Markers created before this you have to update manually, Delete + Recreate.
