When playing the 3DPlay immersion scenario in VR, specific controls are integrated to the controllers of the HTC© Vive™ HMD (Head Mounted Display) device.

Controls for Controller in the Dominant Hand

Use the controller in your dominant hand to choose an activity (Explore, Navigation, or Report), move, or perform precise gestures associated with a command that is currently running.


Number	Control	Description
1	Hold to switch activity	Lets you choose an activity: Explore, Navigation, or Report.
2	Move	Lets you move in space during Fly and Walk modes (during the Navigation activity).
2	Erase	Lets you erase annotation strokes (during the Report activity).
3	Trigger	Selects or moves objects. Validates an action. Plays or pauses an animation.

Controls for Controller in the Non-Dominant Hand

Once you have selected an activity (Explore, Navigation, or Report), use the controller in your non-dominant hand to launch commands. The function switch is always available. The other commands available depend on the activity you are engaged in.

1		Render Mode	Switches from one rendering mode to another. Removes measures and sections that have been created, and restores the visibility of 3D parts that have been hidden.

Explore Commands

1	Hide	Hides or shows elements.
2	Transparency	Makes elements transparent.
2	Section	Sections through the model.
3	Explode	Explodes the model.
4	Measure	Measures elements.
5	Animate	Starts kinematics replay (when available).

Navigation Commands

1	Fly	Flies over the scene.
2	Teleport	Goes from one place to another.
3	Walk	Walks through the scene.
